Announcement of New California Self Storage Association
Member Benefit
Dear CSSA Member or Prospective Member:
The California Self Storage Association (CSSA) is pleased to announce
the formation of a workers’ compensation insurance program that has the
potential to offer substantial savings for many of its members. Depending on
your years of experience in the self storage industry and workers’
compensation claims history, your premium savings could be as much as
30% or more. The program is underwritten by a quality insurance company
which has earned an A.M. Best & Co. rating of “A” excellent. The A.M. Best
Co. is the leading independent provider of insurance company ratings and
financial data.
Leonard E. Ziminsky, CPCU, ARM, of Millennium Corporate Solutions
located in Irvine, California and his firm have been working with the CSSA
in developing the plan. Many of you may remember him over the past
twenty years. He worked with the Self Storage Association (SSA) in the
early 1990’s in gaining approval from the California Department of Insurance
for separate workers’ compensation classification codes for our industry. He
has also been a speaker at some of our conferences.
